‘HEDGEHOG’ WINS BEST ORIGINAL SCORE

We are excited to share that Onur Tarçın has been awarded Best Original Score for his latest score "Hedgehog" at the 14th Sinepark Short Film Festival.

Inspired by Arthur Schopenhauer’s Hedgehog Dilemma, the film explores an intriguing event in a nursing home, deftly weaving themes of closeness, distance, and the omnipresent shadow of mortality.

Creating the score for "Hedgehog" was a unique and engaging process. We experimented with merging strings and innovative elements inspired by hedgehogs. These distinct sounds were recorded in the abandoned, evocative spaces of France, truly encapsulating the essence of the narrative.
