A PIECE OF SKY

Onur Tarçın is proud to announce the release of his new single, “A Piece of Sky”’ via Fernweh Records. Following the introspective tones of previously released singles “Tomorrow, I'll be fine” and “somewhere beyond the sea,” “A Piece of Sky” continues to diversify Tarçın's rich musical palette. This track is a beautifully lilting composition, featuring fluttering piano notes that are light and quick, weaving a tapestry where strings move in melancholic yet uplifting patterns, rendering the track into a state of serene complexity.

“Sometimes, just looking up at the sky might remind us we’re not alone in our feelings. This piece came to me on one such quiet day, a gentle reminder that life’s flow continues, and we share more with those around us than we might think, each observing from our own little windows, looking out at a vast expanse that we all live under yet see from such different perspectives.” says Onur.

Recorded in his studio in the historically rich downtown Senlis, France, "Dream When You’re Feeling Blue" is Tarçın’s most personal work. "A Piece of Sky" evokes a sense of peace and shared understanding, capturing the simple yet profound moments that connect us.

The strings, beautifully performed by Emanuel Pavon, add a melancholic yet uplifting layer to the composition. This collaboration marks the second time Onur and Emanuel have worked together, following their previous track 'Tomorrow, I'll be fine.'

Mixed and mastered by Martyn Heyne at Lichte Studio in Berlin, whose credentials include work with artists like Nils Frahm and Dustin O'Halloran, the piece delivers an auditory experience as pristine as its emotional depth.
