ACACIA
Onur Tarçın’s latest piece, Acacia, is now released on Bigo & Twigetti. This composition is inspired by an acacia tree, partially visible from Onur’s studio garden, a quiet witness to the changing seasons and the passage of time. The piece features a gentle yet expressive piano melody, which gradually unfurls into an emotionally resonant string arrangement, creating a sense of quiet beauty.
"Each time I step outside for fresh air, my eyes are drawn to it. Watching it change through the seasons—its branches turning lush and green, blooming with delicate white acacias, shedding leaves, embracing winter’s snow, and blossoming again—reflects the cycles of life for me. It reminds me that some of life’s deepest truths are often right before us if we only take the time to see them. This piece was born from those quiet reflections. The cover photo captures one of the tree’s most beautiful moments." says Onur.
Recorded in his studio in the historically rich downtown Senlis, France, "Acacia" is one of Tarçın's most personal works. The strings, beautifully performed by Emanuel Pavon, add a sad yet uplifting layer to the composition. Mixed and mastered by Martyn Heyne at Lichte Studio in Berlin, whose credentials include work with artists like Nils Frahm and Dustin O'Halloran, the piece delivers an auditory experience as pristine as its emotional depth.
"Acacia" is now available for streaming and purchase on all major platforms.
